Since 1372 AH (corresponding to 1952), from its headquarters in Al-Deira district of Riyadh, came the breakthrough of Al-Ajlan United Group, when the company started working in food imports and trade for ten consecutive years. Then, business grew to include the import and trade of Japanese fabrics, and providing them to wholesalers and retail sellers. This success has led to include imports from India, Korea and other parts of the world. To allow for more expansion and a larger share in the fabric market, wholesale stores were opened in different areas of the Kingdom.
The next milestone was the establishment and launch of Al Safeer National Clothing Company in 1407AH (1986). As we believed in a brand that would be a beacon of light and a distinguished name amongst other products, Richy was established to promote a close relationship with people via its unprecedented high-quality products and services.
In 1399 Hijri (corresponding to 1978 AD), Sheikh Abdullah Al-Fahd Al-Ajlan, with his shrewd perspective, entered the world of real estate along with other commercial and constructional projects in order to diversify investments. He established a huge residential villa complex in one of Riyadh’s most exclusive districts, which positioned him as one of the leading businessmen at the time.
